FERRARI DRIVING TOUR – TUSCANY, FLORENCE & CHIANTI
A relaxed, scenic Ferrari driving tour through the heart of Tuscany, designed around Italy’s most iconic countryside rather than high-intensity mountain driving. Starting and ending in Florence, this journey follows cypress-lined roads, vineyard landscapes, and historic hilltop towns, with overnight stays in the Tuscan hills near Siena.
This is a tour for guests who value atmosphere, culture, food, and photography, with driving as a pleasure — not a test.
Scenic, Not Extreme — Tuscany at Its Best
Tuscany isn’t about hairpins and empty passes. It’s about rhythm, light, and landscape. The roads here are gentle and flowing, designed to connect vineyards, monasteries, medieval towns, and rolling valleys rather than to challenge outright speed.
Driven in a Ferrari Portofino, this route delivers the essence of la dolce vita: long lunches, golden-hour scenery, and elegant evenings in the countryside. At a Glance:
Scenic: ★★★★☆
Driving intensity: ★★☆☆☆
Well suited for: Food & wine lovers · Countryside & culture · Relaxed pacing · Photography
Less suited for: Mountain-pass addicts · Empty-road adrenaline · Hardcore driver itineraries

Sample Itinerary:
DAY 1 · ARRIVAL IN FLORENCE
Arrive individually in Florence, Italy, where your Tuscany journey begins. Upon arrival, enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel. In the early evening, your Ferrari Portofino, pre-programmed GPS, and printed road book are delivered.
After a short personal briefing, the evening is yours — a gentle introduction to Florence and the days ahead.
DAY 2 · HILLTOP TOWN ROUTE
Leave Florence and head south along scenic country roads toward Tuscany’s classic hilltop towns. Visit San Gimignano, famed for its medieval tower houses, and continue to Volterra, where the remains of the Etruscan Acropolis overlook the surrounding countryside.
Later, pause at the atmospheric ruins of San Galgano Abbey before continuing toward Siena, where you can admire the cathedral and historic centre. The day ends at your luxury countryside hotel, set among rolling hills, with time to relax by the pool.
DAY 3 · VAL D’ORCIA VALLEY
Today is devoted to the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape that defines the visual identity of Tuscany. Drive quiet roads through open valleys shaped by the Orcia River, passing cypress-lined avenues, monasteries, and timeless hilltop villages.
This is a day for unhurried driving, photography stops, and soaking in the scenery that has inspired painters and filmmakers for generations.
DAY 4 · CHIANTI WINE ROUTE
Start the day with an optional stop at the renowned PRADA Outlet, or head straight into the fast, flowing country roads of the Chianti Wine Region. Continue toward the iconic medieval walled town of Monteriggioni, a perfect place for a short walk and a coffee stop.
From here, you’ll follow sections of the Via Chiantigiana, a scenic route through vineyards and hill country that also carries historical significance as part of the Mille Miglia era — the legendary open-road race that ran from 1927 to 1957, covering a thousand miles across Italy.
As the landscape opens toward Florence, pause at Piazza Michelangelo for the city’s most iconic panoramic viewpoint — a fitting finale to your final driving day — before returning your Ferrari and settling in for your last evening in Florence.
DAY 5 · DEPARTURE
After breakfast, your journey comes to a close. At the agreed time, a private transfer will take you to Florence Airport or the train station for your onward travel.
Stay at the Best: We carefully select a small collection of exceptional hotels along each route — places chosen for their location, comfort, and character. From alpine hideaways to iconic lakeside retreats, every stay is part of the experience, not just a stop for the night.
