Let your scenic drive start with a stretch of derestricted Autobahn taking you onto the first leg of the famous scenic German Alpine Road in Bavaria.

HEIDI & LIECHTENSTEIN

Travel via what is arguably Switzerland's most scenic stretch of highway and the Principality of Liechtenstein into the Kaunertal Alpine Valley in Austria.​

Stop at Heidi village — the birthplace and residence of the fictional character, which takes you back to the time of the world-famous Heidi story, in 1880.

GERMAN ALPINE ROAD — LEG 2

Cross the border into Bavaria and pick up the 2nd leg of the beautiful German Alpine Road dotted with the castles and palaces of Bavaria's last king.

Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, a romantic 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill. Drive a stretch of German Autobahn back into Munich.
