FLY TO BERLIN, GERMANY (2-3 DAYS)

Private transfer from the airport to your hotel in Berlin. Spend a few days to relax from your trip and to explore the city.

During the 2nd leg of this trip at your stay in Dresden meet your tour expert at your hotel for a personal Meet & Greet and handover of your car and touring pack holding the programmed GPS and day-by-day road-book.

DAY 2 / EXPLORE DRESDEN

Get a chauffeured car to your beautiful hotel in the Old Town of Dresden to explore the countless attractions in walking distance.

Recommended are the Green Vault Treasury Museum, the Zwinger Palace and the Church of Our Lady. All reborn from the ashes of World War II.

Take a river cruise on a historic paddle steamer.

DAY 3 / SAXON SWITZERLAND LOOP

The first scenic driving loop of the trip.

Spectacular is the right word to describe the bizarre rock formations that remind the majestic landscapes of Switzerland. Wander over the famous Bastei Bridge above the Elbe river.

And in the afternoon visit the impressive 750 years old Fortress Koenigstein, the "Saxon Bastille" before heading back to Dresden via the autobahn.

DAY 4 / TO WEIMAR

Visit the Moritzburg Castle and Meissen Porcelaine Museum before picking up the autobahn.

Drive a solid stretch of autobahn to the museum and historical birthplace of Audi. The German car manufacturer, who's headquarter is today in Bavaria.

Visit “Little Berlin.” like its big brother, this small town of 50 inhabitants became a symbol of the German division and is today an open-air museum.

DAY 5 / EXPLORE WEIMAR

The poets Goethe and Schiller lived in Weimar and found their inspiration. Visit the Goethe Museum and wander through the beautiful Goethe Park.

Visit the museums and the iconic Bauhaus.

Educate yourself about the dark past of this beautiful part of Germany and visit Buchenwald Memorial, the first and largest of the concentration camps within Germany's 1937 borders.

DAY 6 / ROMANTIC ROAD GERMANY LEG 1

Drive a solid stretch of autobahn in Germany to visit the historic town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber at the iconic Romantic Road in Germany.

Experience medieval architecture and half-timbered houses lined up at cobblestone lanes of its beautiful Old Town.

After your visit to the town, continue the scenic roads into Nuremberg in Lower Bavaria.

DAY 7 / EXPLORE NUREMBERG

The city of the Nuremberg Trials serves as necessary reminder of the darker years in the German history. They include the Documentation Centre at the former Nazi party rally grounds.

After the WWII, the city painstakingly rebuilt itself since it was reduced to rubble by the Allied forces.

Despite the city’s turbulent and depressing past, Nuremberg is now one of the most prosperous and interesting cities in Germany.

DAY 8 / ROMANTIC ROAD GERMANY LEG 2

Discover more of the Romantic Road all the way to Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps. Drive past Augsburg and visit the town at leisure. One of Germany's most historically significant cities.

Visit Dachau Memorial the concentration camp that was in operation the longest, nearly all twelve years of the Nazi regime.

Nothing will feel more Bavarian as Tegernsee Valley where you will be based at the shores of the lake.

DAY 9 / GERMAN ALPINE ROAD - LEG 1

Follow the scenic German Alpine Road with its iconic fast sweeping turns though the wonderful scenery of Bavaria dotted with palaces.

Ludwig II, Bavaria's last and very eccentri king left wonderful castles and the most beautiful abbeys.

Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, the famous 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill and stay overnight in the picturesque town right below the castle.

DAY 10 / GERMAN ALPINE ROAD - LEG 2

Drive a stretch of autobahn and then more of the German Alpine Road including and the scenic Three Lakes Route of Bavaria.

Drive past crystal-clear waters crowned by a stunning mountain pass with 106 soft bends and a wonderful panorama over the valley.

Follow the shores of Lake Constance, to your hotel nestled inside the Black Forest.

DAY 11 / BLACK FOREST DRIVE

Drive the fast sweeping curves of the Black Forest High Road all the way to the spa-town of Baden-Baden where you will be based for the night. Truly an El Dorado for driving enthusiasts.

Once arrived to Baden-Baden stroll down the promenade to enjoy a delicious dinner in the beautiful Belle Époque style town and eventually relax at the famous Caracalla Spa in thermal water with more than 4k m².

DAY 12 / TO FRANKFURT FOR DEPARTURE

In the morning drive the most scenic part of the Black Forest High Road again in the apposite direction towards the iconic Hohenzollern Castle.

The autobahn will take you past the Porsche and Merecdes Museum near Stuttgart and you can immerse yourself in the past and future of Germany's most iconic car manufacturers before heading to Frankfurt for your departure flight out of Frankfurt Airport.
